Papas St Germain is dedicated to creating samples from a variety of sources and instruments. The sounds created are heavily influenced by musicians such as Global Communications, Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine , Public Enemy, Dub, Burial, Brian Eno and psychadelic folk/soundtrack music. The latest release from Papas St Germain is classic beats from battered machines The Domestic Elements series is concentrated on sounds created from household objects and the manipulation of those sounds into musical elements suitable for use in any genre.

The Ambient Guitars series concentrates on the recording and manipulation of guitars using echo, delays reverbs and distortion with further processing done in software. HarmonicBeats, Discordant melodies ,features an eclectic mix of Tough beats, ambient pads and chords. Classic beats from battered machines has a wide mix of beats,breaks,percussion loops and one shots to suit all genres available now. Some of the software used in both libraries includes a program called paulextremesoundstretch, Audio Damage plug-ins, Reaper for cutting, reversing and editing and lots of PSP plug ins. Electroharmonix pedals and a Koass pad are some of the hardware units used.
